Movie Name : Around the World in 80 Days
Actress Name : Karen Mok, Maggie Q, Natalie Denise Sperl
Character Name : General Fang
Year : 2004

In 2004 movie Around the World in 80 Days. Actress Karen Mok plays as villainess General Fang.

It's time to spend two hours of good old escapism with the greatest marital artist of all time, Jackie Chan, I watched the movie multiple times, but it's been long since I watched it, It's worth being watched again.
I forgot how ridiculous this movie was, I love it, I really hate how modern movies obsessed with realism, and their hate to fiction and fantasy, they want everything to be a lecture, basically if realism stand in the way of making the movie fun, get rid of it, no matter if it's a comedy, action, horror, or whatever, it's a movie, we know it's not real, as long as it's fun to watch, and as long as it serve as escapism and people can immerse in the story, it's a good movie.
Our beloved General Fang appeared in the first 10 minutes, I love her ๐“†ฉ๐Ÿฅบ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ’ž๐“†ช.
This is one of the movies where the camera is an active character in the movie, I love how smart the camera work is, just incredible.
Ok, I'm not calling Jackie Chan with the character name, I will just call him Jackie Chan.
So Jackie fought a group of bad guys in art gallery, how awesome to meet such legend like Jackie Chan in real life, they must had a lot of fun, or a lot of hard work depends on the person LOL. The idea that while they were fighting kind of finished the painting shows you how much thought was put in such scene.
I watched like 40 minutes, it felt like 5 minutes, you can't find movies like that today, most movies today are hard to watch, watching stupid TikTok shorts is often more fun than watching a modern movie, the worst is that Hollywood think that they can promote their boring trash on TikTok, not knowing that whenever they go watch these modern movies and have a really bad boring experience, they will automatically reject the idea of watching modern movies, even the good ones.
The camera work in this movie is so good I wanna cry, I haven't seen such good camera work in a long time.

I totally forgot that Arnold Schwarzenegger was in this movie, damn, he looks ridiculous and funny.
Maggie Q play a villainess in this movie, very short screen time, one of my favorite actresses of all time, so underrated, she doesn't even named in the movie, she had a short confrontation with the heroes while they were in India under the British colonization.
Then Jackie and the heroes arrived to China, to return the statue he retrieved from Britain after it was stolen from his village.
Ok, the three heroes were caught by the black scorpion organization AKA the bad guys, they were tied in a box with a fourth man, he was screaming, the hero asked Jackie "What he's screaming about?" and Jackie answered "Please, Let me go! I'm bored!", and I was like, that's me watching modern Hollywood, let me go, I'm bored, LOL.
Jackie Chan kicked black scorpion out of the village, Jackie fought their leader, had a great fight, Jackie is the only actor than can have an epic fight and you might laugh watching it.
Are you fucking kidding me, Rob Schneider also in this movie, this movie is a nostalgia bomb.

One of the things that make our main villainess Fang so unique is that her character without doubt inspired by Chinese opera, like even in her final fight, the makeup, the music, the acting, everything, she's just a great iconic villainess.

Karen Mok, Maggie Q and Natalie Denise Sperl as evil babes in Around the World in 80 Days

Movie Name : Dragon Squad AKA Mang lung
Actress Name : Maggie Q
Character Name : Yuet
Year : 2005

No way, Steven Seagal was executive producer in this movie, that would be intersting. I don't care if the movie bad or not, I just love to watch Maggie Q, so I will enjoy it anyway. There are like 50 people who were shot till now and I'm in the first 12 minutes, when the movie gonna tell us what's going on?! LOL!

The movie have a cool fight between Sammo Kam-Bo Hung and a bad guy, not sure if I like the camera work much, the thing with Chinese movies and fight scenes that in the 80s and 90s the fight scenes looked clear and cool, over time they used too many cut and it may look unfocused. On the other hand I like the blood effect, unlike most modern movies, movies back then had the budget to afford ketchup.

From 1 hour mark, the real action began, our villainess shot the heroine, then had a final fight with the hero, then shot at the end of the fight. I don't know what to think about the movie, sometimes you have great action scenes, like brutal bloody action scenes, sometimes you think the movie trying to be about romance it's like a mix, as for the fight scenes especially gun fight scenes it's really cool yet there are a lot of cuts in the middle of the action which I really didn't like.. I only watched the movie because Maggie Q was in it, for me Maggie Q is one of the greatest actresses ever, she deserves a movie just about her life and how she started from being the girl in the car till today ๐Ÿ’–๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿ’ž.

Maggie Q as evil babe Yuet in Dragon Squad AKA Mang lung

Movie Name : Operation: Endgame AKA Rogues Gallery
Actress Name : Maggie Q, Ellen Barkin, Emilie de Ravin
Character Name : High Priestess, Empress, Hierophant
Year : 2010

In 2010 movie Operation: Endgame. Actresses Maggie Q, Ellen Barkin, and Emilie de Ravin play as female villains High Priestess, Empress, Hierophant.

I don't care what you think but Maggie Q is the greatest actress of all time, So I know who I'm gonna root for in this movie, her being a villainess, there's no question that she will definitely be my favorite character.

Chariot played by Rob Corddry is so funny, and we Bob Odenkirk from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul playing Emperor, then they introduced Magician played by Adam Scott saying "The reason the third world is still the third world is because of that asshole", well, fuck you, Magician, I guess, LOL.

For some reason I really dislike Fool played by Joe Anderson, I just don't know why, maybe my evil senses telling me he would be the most boring character in the movie.

Damn, Hierophant is a crazy, the way she killed poor Judgement played by Ving Rhames is so graphic, basically the movie after their boss was killed by unknown killer, the government agent started to kill each others.

Damn, the Fool guy is so boring, he will probably survive, I really like Adam Scott as a villain in this movie, didn't think he can do it.

Our High Priestess died fighting Tower around 38 minute mark, Tower dies brutally shortly after her.

Then Hierophant tries to kill the Fool guy, unfortunately the heroine stepped in and saved him from her, I wish she killed him first before attacking Judgement, also, losing our High Priestess so early in the movie, I can hardly enjoy the movie knowing that I will never see Maggie Q till the end of the movie.

I don't think I ever watched any movie when Maggie Q wasn't my favorite character, I just love seeing her on screen, just being there make any movie 100 times better, so, it's hard to find anyone to compete with her, love you, High Priestess ❤️❤️❤️.
