Henchwomen Fight

In 2023 movie The Comeback AKA 零号追杀. Actress Lu Wei AKA 魏璐 plays as villainess Ling Jiu.

Been a while since I watched a Chinese movie, so, let's hope this one is fun to watch..

Ok, the movie starts with the villainess killing some guy between her thighs, that's very promising, very fast and kind of sudden tho, still, that's so cool.

Damn, the main villain in the movie, I assume, has like a laser wire, and the fight scenes, god, it's awesome, haven't seen something like that in ages. I hope the movie is more than just cool fight scenes.

The visuals in the movie are really cool, it reminds me of dystopian movies from the 90s..

16 minutes in, and now I feel like I'm watching a different movie, let's see how things will connect, although story-wise, I have no idea what was the fights at the start of the movie were about, they looked cool, still felt out of context.

Ok, this is fun, it seems like substory of the movie, a group of gangsters want to force the people of the neighborhood to sign away their homes in order to demolish them, probably paid by some company, and as a short story it's really good.

We see our villainess again around 38 minutes, still the origin of Hua isn't revealed yet, hope it worth the wait.

The movie uses sound effects that are similar to Dark, which sometimes feel unfit for the scene, like with some scenes with just normal dialog, and sometimes fast action scenes..

Andy On is absolutely the star of this movie, and when I say a male villain is the star in a movie that has a really good villainess, it means the actor playing the male villain is really really good.

1 hour 8 minutes now, and I can't deny it, China is one of the few last bastions of creative and artistic freedom in the world.

The final fight starts around 1 hour 20 minutes..

The movie exceeded my expectations, I thought it will be sanitized, bloated and lame at first, but it was actually really fun to watch.
