You know, I don't really hate hearing English, modern movies were just so boring that the language started to sound really boring to me, the reason I learned English in the first place was watching Hercules: The Legendary Journeys as a kid, and then English became the language of Hercules, the language of adventures, the language of art and beauty, that's how great Cinema is, English for other people are The Godfather, or Prison Break, or Breaking Bad, maybe it's the language of Romance for some when you watch Titanic, maybe it's the language of laughter for some when they watch Jim Carrey, English for many people today is the voice of Nostalgia.. I used to think, if you are a native English speaker it must be awesome, which kind of made sense, all the best cool books about science or history either written in English or have English translation, this is changing, and I don't know if it's for the best or the worst!!

It's interesting how Steven Seagal's movies changed over the years, and I don't care, his movies are fun, if you are watching them for the villains..

Damn, this is do dumb and I love it..

Yeah, I guess I have to keep mentioning Masters of the Universe, since I haven't watched modern movies in a while, and put the great Alison Brie aside, but the movie still suffer from the ills that infected modern movies, and why I kind of stopped caring about watching them, the scene around 6 minutes, when they went with the car, you don't see that in any modern movie, as I said, modern movies feel like watching an office, you don't get a scene like this one, with stunts made with a car just for fun, you also don't get to watch the real world, all is CGI and fake, it feels like the work made in the intro from 6 minutes to 8 minutes is more than what is made in an entire modern action movie..

Claudia Christian is playing Ellen Williams in this movie, but I don't think she's a villainess, I watched the movie long time ago, so maybe was, let's see..

Claudia Christian is actually good playing cops, I watched her in 911.. 911 is basically a procedural show, it's like medical but more interesting, at least it started that way..

Guns, explosions and fireworks, this is dumb and I love it..

Around 14 minutes, they made it like the hero would die, but then he survived, every time I watch this in movie all I was thinking, "Do you dare? And if you did, what next?" That's why it was fun to watch Game Of Thrones, because the writer basically wrote like a villain, and then it became very interesting to see where the story is going, a villain writer make the story very interesting, because now the heroes are facing a strong villain, sometimes he win and some time he loses, that's why they need to be really good and smart to survive, other story where the writer was the villain was Saw..

Alexandra Kamp from Sumuru is in this movie..

They filmed a scene with skydiving for the villains, like that's cool..

We first see 49er around 28 minutes, Matt Battaglia also playing a villain in this movie, he played a hero before in Universal Soldier III: Unfinished Business as far as I remember, and it seems that he's having more fun playing this character, which interesting, because recently I watched an interview of Nour El-Sherif, one of the most popular Arab actors, he basically said that what he loves the most as an actor is to play a role where he kills people, and the host was shocked, then he explains that what he loves most about being an actor is to have feelings that he would never experience in real life, unreplicable experience, he then said that another reason for that, that he was taught to be very peaceful, polite, and control his anger, that's why he loves violent scenes, and find it therapeutic, I guess that's why Gal Gadot loves to play a character saving kids, it's also unique and unreplicable experience for her, something she would never experience in real life.. I mean think about it, if you want act a role, why have an experience you already have? That's why it's possible that some actors actually enjoy playing villains than playing a hero, that's why when you take away villains, you are pushing society either to burst in anger, or channel their stress on an individual or a group of people, that's why the moralistic realistic failed artist really hated the appeal of villains and find them poisoning society and was able to radicalize the whole society over time, Sekhmet is absolutely the greatest character in the history of art and humanity..

I don't know, would anyone actually watch this movie for Steven Seagal solely, because I'm watching it for everyone but, like, it's a great movie for me, if you watch the movie for the villains, it's kind of fun..

The helicopter scene around 42 minutes looks awesome..

49 minutes, 49er Three had a great fight scene and died, but still, this easy? I was expecting him to be bigger challenge, like in the first confrontation!

Our villainess confronts the heroes around 52 minutes, it seems like the movie worked harder on her character and the characters of other villains than on the hero himself, even the stunts..

Ok, 56 minutes in and this is Nia Peeples' movie..

I think the final confrontation starts around 1 hour 23 minutes, I actually wanted the movie to last longer, and if I want a movie to last longer by its end, that's a good movie for me..

Good movies from the 80s are special, it's like travelling to another world, entirely different experience with different rules, that's why the superhero genre started extremely popular, because it gave something like that, something unique, different experience with different rules, but if it ended became the norm in movies, it's no longer special, it's no longer unique, and the rules is no longer different, which is another interesting contradiction, any genre should always aim to be the norm, but should never be the norm, which is something you can learn from the story of Sekhmet, the first villainess, and the first vampire in human history, and also with The Myth of Sisyphus, even so Sekhmet was tasked with destroying humanity, she should try to do it, but never accomplish it, the same goes with Sisyphus, even tho he aim to be on top of the mountain, he never should stay there, but has to keep trying to climb the mountain, I'm sorry, those who call today movies and characters are better, give me a better character like that, or at least tell me why characters from point A to point B are better, how a story that was written thousands of years ago and was associated with art science and music, still relevant today? We see our gorgeous villainess around 5 minutes mark..

At the start of the movie one of the characters made great remarks on art, basically what he said, the difference between art and artistic masterpiece is when you spend hours staring at paintings, while a good painting can be something you stare at for minutes, so when I say female villains are uncut gems, you who follow the blog know what I mean, what really matters are the villains, they are the masterpieced, they are the movie, for example, the only reason you would watch Double Impact is for Kara performed by Corinna Everson or maybe Moon performed by Bolo Yeung, but you will never watch it for Van Damme, like, this is a Corinna Everson and Bolo Yeung movie..

We then get a nudity scene, I mean, It's better than being bored..

It's interesting that this movie was made in the 80s, and drones still playing a big part in it..

Finally, we see our villainess around 27 minutes 😍😍😍..

Seeing these beautiful footage of landscapes from the 80s is priceless.. Like, green that looks green, blue that looks blue, now every movie looks grey!!

We see Pantera again around 30 minutes, and god, I would die for her..

The poem basically two scenes, the first part the one he loves conspiring with her friends against him, and the second part is him expressing how much he loved her, also calling her a tyrant is a metaphor of how beautiful she is, like a tyrant who want people not only think about them, her beauty is tyrannical, that it force people to think about her, it torture people with her beauty, even causing people go hungry and denying them eating by losing their appetite thinking about her, basically tyranny in art, the world of evil and villains, is contradictory to what it means in real world, that's why this poem is so strong and one of the greatest poem on the contradictory nature of love..

Seeing Pantera for a decent screen time is some of the greatest moment you would spend watching a movie, you never get a character that you can never see enough of, as with a villainess..

Around 40 minutes, we get boat chase, and a gunfight, I love how Andy Sidaris kept experimenting new concepts, RIP, Andy Sidaris, you are missed 💔💔💔..

It must be hell to film this boat chase scene in the 80s..

Whenever Pantera isn't on screen, we either get nudity scene or gunfight, this movie doesn't wanna get you bored LOL..

The dialogue in this movie is so cheesy in a fun way..

This is funny, around 58 minutes, he's saying "We attach the explosive" and he basically putting the batteries in the toy car, but most people probably didn't know how the batteries of this toy car looked like in the 80s..

Despite how cheesy the dialogue is, but it also has some very smart lines that it feels like the writer is breaking the fourth wall and speaking to the audience with a double meaning metaphorical form, like around 1 hour mark, when the professor tells the hero, "Catch, That'll give you a leg up." and the hero replies "You're a master of your art, Professor.", then the professor replies "Killing is an art form.", and it's absolutely true, without it you don't get horror, action, and even romance like Titanic, The Notebook, and Atonement, it's about how to use it in the story.. You may assume that there are two main characters the writer used to self-insert, the one at the start of the movie who talked about the painting, who got two minutes and was killed, which is also a smart decision, because you wouldn't remember anything he said except what he said about the painting and you would remember such character, the other is the professor, none of them are main characters, with the main players the writer stuck to the lore and focus on making immersive characters, you don't see that in modern movies, modern movies they self-insert in everything, making movies unwatchable, that's the difference between a professional filmmaker and artist and whatever we have ended up with today.. Anyway, the idea of self-insert work as long as it doesn't jeopardize the structure of the movie, because basically if you ended up self-inserting yourself in an action movie, and having a main character, you would probably end with boring and bland character, and if it's a main character, you end up changing the genre of the movie and basically destroying it, this is what I saw watching Masters of the Universe, it can work in comedy, because basically you can be joking IRL and use the jokes from your life in a movie, but when done in horror, action, adventure, you risk destroying not just a movie, but anything that can be built on it, so respect.

You know it would be interesting if Richard Gecko in From Dusk Till Dawn was a self-insert of Quentin Tarantino, like him falling in love with Santanico Pandemonium..

LOL, that was funny around 1 hour 8 minutes..

We get a dummy around 1 hour 10 minutes, I miss dummies..

You won't watch this movie for the story, yet, it's so fun to watch, they now have a motorcycles fight.. It's basically like that, the movie need nudity and fights, the rest of the work is focused on experimenting film making, which is kind of awesome, it's not like a lazy movie, it deliver what you expect and with these scenes you really see the talent behind the movie.

While with Masters of the Universe all I saw was company office and social media data gathering, like, a dumb fun movie, need brilliant people behind it to make it a dumb fun movie..

If you think about it, the masterpiece in the movie, Picasso Trigger's painting, basically represent villains in the movie, especially Salazar performed by John Aprea, RIP, John Aprea, thank you, we love you, and miss you 💔💔💔..

Basically, the painting isn't the painting, the painting is the villains, interesting nonsensical contradictory phrase that make sense in a nonsensical universe..

Just to know, when Andy Sidaris made this movie, he had 20 years experience of movie making, and it shows on how awesome the movie looks, a movie that was made in the 80s, and the character he choose and focused on was the main antagonist, and casted non other than John Aprea from The Godfather Part II to play it..

We finally see Pantera around 1 hour 20 minutes soon after her final confrontation began around 1 hour 25 minutes..

90s action movie, I really missed them, behind the scene of this movie would tell a more interesting story than any modern movie..

They actually make a movie about that, something like The Disaster Artist, only with a decent movie, not something like the room, it could be even a success story, of making a movie in the 90s, have funny comedic moments around how complicated it used to be, and maybe the movie go to the theater, and they assume it flopped, but it ended successful in video stores, could even by a story of someone who aspire to be a star, wait a minute, I think they did that with the new movie based on Sylvester Stallone, still I mean it like a fictional thing, not biography, something could have ups and downs with less creative restriction like with movies based on biographies..

A movie based on the biography of Quentin Tarantino, would be insanely good movie if done right..

It's crazy watching how this movie is making fight scenes like around 3 minutes, with Chinese movies then were making action marital art masterpieces..

Hollywood movies on average were usually lesser quality when compared to the rest of the world, but you can't say that, because better technology doesn't mean better quality, and you can see that, by how some 90s movie is often have better qualities than modern movies.. Like, with Chinese movies, why would you spend years and years doing Chinese Opera, stunt work, training, only to prepare yourself for a movie you would make 5 years later, like Jackie Chan did, why doing all of that if you can avoid all these troubles and get the same results, but still Jackie's movies are absolutely priceless, they aren't a movie made in a certain year, they are priceless works of art, and whoever was in one of them even the gold age, they should be proud to be part of making history..

I miss seeing devices that looks interesting but yet very useless and nonsensical today, they actually make good element to the story, while if used useful devices, you would end up with smart phone doing the job of 100 device, which is insane restriction for elements that can be used and be creative with in a story..

We see our villainess around 12 minutes 😍😍😍.

This movie with this back soundtrack would absolutely be unwatchable if not for Talia..

The way she talks, I'm so in love with her, and this is the only movie of the actress!

30 minutes in, and I don't even know who is the protagonist of this movie, like, the heroes of the movie very inactive..

Now I'm seeing the heroes, and I regret my wish, please let us see the villainess again!!

Talia basically want to destroy the world, and I'm in love with her LOL!!

We have an action scene around 42 minutes, it's insane when you watch these scenes, and to think how most of the work of this scene is on the stunt performers, also different from Chinese movies of the time, in order to make action scene work, the work is on both the stars and the stunt performers, that's why Jackie in one of his movies was frustrated by if whoever gonna fight him have to have a good experience to do it, I love stunt performers, many of my top favorite actors were stunt performers.. I will absolutely watch Nadine Theron's upcoming movie.

Anyway, we see our gorgeous villainess again around 43 minutes, it's impossible how beautiful she is..

No character has the right to be as good, no character should be so good that you love her despite trying to destroy the world, no justifications, not apologetic, that feeling is insane, and that's how good movies are..

A character that make you love it despite the reasons on why you shouldn't is the greatest character ever, and a character that make you hate it despite all reasons on why you shouldn't is the worst character ever..

This movie would never be made post-2001, yeah censorship of Hollywood movie didn't start in the last ten years, this movie with the character of Talia, would never be made after 2001..

We see the gorgeous Talia around 59 minutes..

This movie is so cheesy, I loath 24, I get it's basically a genre and people enjoy watching it, but the problem is that every movie and TV show became like that, everything was sanitized and censored, moved towards, I would say dry restrictive characters, and if this show was only a show among other shows that would have entertaining characters like Talia, or Delicious Malicious in Hard Knox or Giggles in Black Scorpion, it wouldn't be a problem for me, we would still have entertaining fictional characters.

The final fight starts around 1 hour 11 minutes..

In 2026 movie Masters of the Universe. Actress Alison Brie plays as villainess Evil-Lyn. Haven't watched modern Hollywood movies for sometime now, so let's see this, it's better be good..

Ok, a lot of CGI, not a big fan of the overuse of CGI in movies..

It's interesting how humans see aliens, it's one of two either they are hate humans and want to destroy them, or they somehow share the same human morality in its perfect way, and the two only show how humanity see itself, there are rarely scenarios where humans aren't the center, or that human are irrelevant to them, or they treat them as humans treat other species, and in that sense, they would treat them the same way humans treat different species, like they can hunt them if they feel hungry, and put them in cages to save their species and other animals from such creature that caused the most damage to other species the most! Like I never saw a movie with humans aren't the center, because if you did, you would trigger the question, what if we aren't the center of the universe, which is scary question, some don't even want to imagine asking it!

I love Skeletor's castle, if I ever owned a castle, it would look like that, imagine living inside a work of art!!

Eternia is being attacked and destroyed and it feels nothing, probably the dependence on CGI make it feel as a video game, it's weightless..

I get it's PG-13, but the stakes seems weightless, like Duncan fighting like 50 evil soldiers, and he get them with ease as if he's John Wick, like effortlessly, also, in Hercules 1983, the stakes actually felt real, now nothing happen to make you feel that the protagonist in danger..

Finally we see Evil-Lyn around 17 minutes..

The Sorceress is a good heroine, I know, that insidious, it's like saying a good hero is a dead hero, which unironically true, because heroes basically represent selflessness, and that's not my words as a villain, it's George Lucas', and what is more selfless than what she did?

Oh, god, they are making his heroic journey enforced on him? Like they made him since being a child he's obsessed with the sword, in the laziest way possible!

I don't know why, but I thought the actor playing the hero, was Jake Adelstein from Tokyo Vice, decent show BTW, not as action, just drama, never watch it for action..

The first 35 minutes were horrendous, like, WTF was that?

Like, if you want to make a "re-imagining" of the character to connect it with the sword, it has to be done in a rewarding way, first he has to loose the memory he had about his childhood, then growing up he look up to adventure characters like Indiana Jones or Lara Croft, which make him read about lost relics with superpowers, and then build passion in him to be archaeologist, he became one and find the work isn't as excited as he expected, but he then find a lead to the sword of his dream, go after it, get it, but some villains try to own it and sell it for money, and then Teela go for the rescue, and then she tells him about his childhood, then the camera them out of the flashback and out of his eyes to show him crying or some shit, then when he finally discover his heroism, his childhood dream of being adventurer became true, that would be more impactful for the character of the hero..

Seeing Evil-Lyn is a blessing in this movie..

Adam in the movie is a very sad character, it's like the character was indoctrinated to do something without having the will to do it, yeah, what I suggest would also indoctrinated, lack of free will, because I think all heroes lack of free will, but still I think my example is subtle, like giving the character the illusion of free will, even tho he lacks it!

In order for this movie to work its best, in the villainous way, that when it's made, you shouldn't take it seriously, and you should take it seriously, as usual two contradiction, and by that I mean, you should make a journey like the example I mentioned above and that's you take it seriously, and you also shouldn't mock the world of the original story and what you find it silly about it, just build towards its unseriousness with seriousness..

54 minutes in, and hollyshit, they absolutely hate the original..

In tv show The Adventures of Sinbad season 1 episode titled The Isle of Bliss aired 1997. Actress Monika Schnarre plays as villainess Alana.

The episode starts with Sinbad saying "There's something weird about this place, because there's nothing called as free feast!", ok, but why? What made the founder fathers stand behind a system like capitalism, was actually for the capitalist system to solve the problem of manufactured scarcity, instead of a handful of people controlling the wealth of the entire nation, it's better to have a free market and competition, such competition was also essential for freedom of press, freedom of expression and creative, artistic freedom, as well as solving the scarcity problem. But here's the contradiction, when the same system that was built to prevent small group of people to control every aspect of your life and enslave you get strong enough, you end up with the same small group of people that is driven by "more profitability", and "more control", so now you don't get freedom of press, freedom of expression, and creative freedom, because the new small group can dictate what would be the limit of all these things, and if or not they would solve a problem of scarcity, or they will end up causing it, Sinbad basically saying that no matter how rich a nation is with resources, it has to suffer from scarcity and its consequences, which is actually historically inaccurate, because even religions establishment worked as a system to do exactly that for most of the last, what, 4000 years!! And in that sense society of the past couldn't exist without religions, religions in the past served the purpose of providing people of what they need, why they had to do it? Well, imagine the alternative for the emperors and kings, facing revolution and instability, so even tho doing a selfless act like providing free meal may feel contradictory to the idea of selfishness, but as a villain I do believe that truth is contradictory in nature, even the villains' believe system, what they believe in? Falsehood and evil, what is more true than believing itself to be false, that's the most true belief system! So, religion or tradition, worked really well for the king to ensure stability, and even in society that lack central authority, they also tend to provide free feast out of their selfishness and to avoid any danger the guest can bring to their home! Here is what I would do to make what Sinbad said logical, like you go to a place and being welcomed as a guest with free feast, well, the place have to be in a very cold weather, because in such case, people store food to pass the winter, especially in the period the show is taking place before canned food and such, then it's weird that his crew being offered food and the locals risking hunger later on..

We see Alana around 2 minutes 30 seconds, damn, her evil laugh 😍😍😍.

Can you imagine being in the world of Sinbad, and she talks to you? God, I would die, just by her looking at me, like, how even can you talk to such gorgeous villainess, her beauty would paralyze you, and you will end being enchanted by it.

If I would die by being devoured alive, I want it to be her, it would be actually interesting ending, and history would remember me, like imagine people saying "He died by being devoured alive by a monster, but wait for it.. She was so hot."! Like how many historical figures had such interesting ending..

Doubar is in love with Alana, the poor thing..

I love the world of fiction, like, I'm thinking, what if a villainess, became close to me as Alana to Doubar, and all I'm thinking that I would pass out, while IRL, I would never pass out talk to any woman no matter how beautiful she is, even if she was the most beautiful woman in the world, that's why a villainess is like a god to me.

Around 21 starts a storm, and she basically control the weather, and caused a storm that led to the fall of Maeve of the ship..

Doubar is facing a giant snake around 33 minutes, it was insane to see that on screen in 1997, it kind of looks outdated now, but with mixing the practical effects in this case a whip to work as the tongue of the snake, it looks decent..

Alana final confrontation starts around 34 minutes, after she found a supernatural sword in a cave, she ends with transforming into a ridiculous-looking flying monsters by the end, it must've looked really good for a TV show in 1997, but now looks so so bad.. I love that the episode ended without noticing it, that I don't have to feel bored that I have to check when it ends, just good old entertainment..

Watching an entertaining movie or TV episode is one of the greatest pleasures we will ever get as humans, it can't be compared to video games or AI or anything else..

What the fuck I'm watching, LOL..

This movie is so funny..

We see Warden Exene for the first time around 15 minutes..

Are everyone in this movie villains except Taura?

Muffin appear around 20 minutes to pay a visit to the prison..

Those who made this movie are very creative with so little they got, and I love it. Dawn Wildsmith evil expressions are very entertaining..

We get a catfight around 32 minutes, then Muffin and Warden Exene intervened, every time Muffin talks I laugh..

They actually have a fight against monster around 37 minutes, and they are using practical effects, practical effects wins every single time, a low budget movie with practical effects from the 80s would always beat a big budget movie today with AI or CGI, even if not commercially, I'm watching a movie made 40 years ago, and it still hold due to using practical effects, a movie made 10 years ago depending solely on CGI would feel outdated if you watched it today..

The only active male villain in the movie appear around 50 minutes with robot arm, 80s movies were something else, I actually like that, you have a villain who has been defeated once, they appear again as a bigger challenge, you can't have the same challenge that the hero overcame twice, or it wouldn't be a challenge, that's what happen when you keep using the same character with the same power over and over again in the same TV show for example, you waterdown the character and the show..

Holly.. The Warden around 57 minutes 😍😍😍😍..

This movie is so silly, it's very comedic..

One of the prisoners around 1 hour 2 minutes was taken to solitary confinement for having drugs, like how, it's prison floating in space, how exactly someone brought it inside the prison! LOL!

Muffin final confrontation is around 1 hour 3 minutes..

The prisoners escape and the heroine confront Warden Exene around 1 hour 10 minutes, the Warden was knocked out, and then her actual final confrontation is around 1 hour 18 minutes.

This is a fun movie actually, comedy, action, villainess, and practical monsters, this movie was made 40 years ago, and I think I should thank modern movie for how much they suck that I had to watch this 80s movie..
