In tv show Light and Shadow AKA 光影 season 1 episode 10 and 11  aired 2014. Actress Liu Xuan-Zi AKA 劉宣孜 plays as villainess Man Li.

Man Li is like the only effective villainess in the show as far as I know, and she's so gorgeous, let's start watching.

Dashuan is basically a Chinese official when the nationalists and the communists were united against imperial Japan, and he's so into Man Li, who can blame him? who can resist such beauty!!

He actually risked his life to bring her a gift in her birthday, aww, that's so sweet!  

There's something wrong with men, we see a beautiful woman, and it's like we are being hypnotized, like, there's absolutely nothing she would ask us to do and we wouldn't do it, it's like magic. Like I know this will end up with him being killed, I know when it comes to reason, he should never be with her, yet I totally get why he's completely under her control, I would too, and it's not because I think it's a good idea, it's just I can't control it, a villainess tell me to do anything, and I will just do it.

Ok, we have like a group of Chinese Communist resistance who are disguised as Japanese soldiers from Tokyo.

Hell, Yang Xue is playing Lin Ju, a heroine in this show, Yang Xue also played the villainess Naoko in Black Fox Ultimate Rescue, I'm so happy to see her, now I also have a favorite character on the heroes' side, We love you, Yang Xue ❤❤❤❤. 

I love when I recognize Chinese actor I've seen in other movies before, and go like "Hey, I love watching this actress, I'm so happy to see her".

 Chinese drama really humanize the Japanese occupation, and I wouldn't blame them if they didn't, which something Japanese should see as friendly gesture despite the history, no other country in the world would do that..

Just to understand what I mean, when Egypt was at war with Israel, we would never show the face of any Israeli, let alone making them appealing, for example Oghneya Ala El Mamar movie, which was made in 1972, then Egypt was still at war, after we signed a peace treaty, this changed, not only we showed them, but even used actors who were very popular to portray them in order to make people tolerant and less dogmatized and to humanize them, for example Idam Mayyet, 1985 movie, the villains in the movie played by Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, a great Egyptian actor, and extremely popular, like a superstar, Poussi played villainess Sahar, also extremely beautiful and popular actress, Yehia El-Fakharany played villain Abu-Gudah, also a great Egyptian actor and extremely popular, all of these actors, are likable, popular, and charismatic, the reason behind that is to make people tolerant, and not have a blind hatred, even when they are portrayed as villains, basically humanizing them, so people can be more acceptable when it comes to deal with them.

Ok, so basically the resistance outsmarted the Japanese, the Japanese commander put a bomb inside the safe they want to penetrate, and they manged to avoid the trap, opened the safe, took what they came for, then blew it up, to make it like as they failed and died while opening it, while in fact they only did that to buy themselves time and stall the Japanese while they run away, which is really smart move.

Around 25 minute mark, the bad guys surrender one of the Chinese resistance member, and he's eating like one of the most popular snacks in Egypt, we call it Chinese pulp, which is kind of cool, as it look so familiar.

TBH, I'm not sure if they are Japanese, or Chinese nationalists, as far as I know, both the communists and nationalists were like united against the Japanese, then the communists took over China and established modern China and what was left of the nationalists established a ended up in Chinese Taipei.

       We see our gorgeous villainess again around 29 minute time mark 😍😍😍.

I'm insane, I know they will betray and kill the one who loved her, and I still want to be with her, it absolutely makes zero sense.

Our villainess wait for Dashuan who told her of what he would do, so she took the opportunity to set a trap for him and his soldiers. Poor Dashuan was shocked, he didn't believe that the gorgeous sweet Man Li, the one who trusted and risked his life for would be the one that end his life, her scene killing Dashuan reminded me of this clip called "Badman Can't Stop Thinking About Sex", I was always thinking that Dashuan will go like "But we totally had sex", and Man Li go like "It was all a cruel ploy to gain your confidence", and Dashuan go like "That was a cruel ploy? Sign me up for another." 😂😂😂.  

The tenth episode ended and I really enjoyed it, the final confrontation starts in the eleventh episode, basically the Chinese security team detected that Dashuan team was eliminated and replaced, and they decided to go fight the infiltrators.

 I really enjoyed watched this, and I'm happy that Yang Xue is part of the show, we love you Yang Xue ❤❤❤.And also Man Li was a great villainess I really love her  😍😍😍.
