I never watched this one but Desperado was so cool.. Ok, the movie have Danny Trejo as Cucuy, Antonio Banderas as El Mariachi, Salma Hayek as Carolina, Willem Dafoe as Barillo, Johnny Depp as Sands, and most importantly Eva Mendes as Ajedrez, so many great actors in one movie, I hope the movie stay focused not to turn to unfocused mess. Johnny Depp acting in this movie is so bad, he doesn't even try, he's a villain, but he's so lazy, it's as horrible as Hollywood modern male villains LOL. The movie is trying to both be a sequel of Desperado and a parody of it, it's also a romance movie, it's like they had a list and they put everything in it, famous stars check, gun fight check, comedy check, romance check. Around 54 minute is so fun to watch, it's similar to the original Desperado. After an hour the movie finally discovered its identity of being an action movie, so the rest of it like gun fight, it's so fun to watch, I wish it was that focused since the start. So, our villainess took Sands to meet her family, Sands meets her poor father who just had a surgery, her father asked him if he's willing to do everything to our gorgeous villainess, Sands replied "I would give my eyes for her", they ate dinner together as a loving family, then Sands left unharmed, without his eyes of course.
