In tv show Blade: The Series season 1 aired 2006. actress Jessica Gower plays as villainess Chase. Since I kind of stopped watching almost any modern shows, now would be the time to watch Blade: The Series since our main villainess would be like in every episode of the show, and the show was before Hollywood thought police era, I'm sure I will have a better time watching it than any of the modern trash.
Let's start watching the first episode, the episode starts in Moscow, interesting. It seems that Blade is going after a Russian vampire, the poor guy probably don't have a chance and won't survive Blade. Fucking hell, that's a really good fight, and Sticky Fingaz is actually decent as Blade, the fight ended of course with the vampire got his throat cut, a short fight, but really good.
Around 7 minute mark, Our villainess is kidnapping some dude in order to feed on him, the lucky bastard, I wish I was him. On second thought, I'm fine, the guy was just shot in the head LOL. If I were him I would go like"You are all vampires, why shot me while you can drink my blood, at least taste it, it can be delicious, You know how hard to find a good human fresh blood nowadays, you don't know what you are missing."
The dude is the brother of the heroine, I didn't expect that, and it's very interesting introduction, now here's something very interesting that you wouldn't see in any modern TV show, like, when the heroine went to the police station after with her encounter with Blade, the officer wasn't cooperative, as his already team vampires, so she started the fire alarm, so everyone evacuate the building and she get access to the investigation files and stole them, something you won't probably see in anything made by Hollywood thought police today, such small thing can show you how restrictive and oppressive the process that would probably suffocate any ounce of creativity of people working under them.
Damn, I didn't expect that, around 22 minute mark, we see a very short clip of The House of the Dead III game, which is kind of cool, it's like they know their audience, and kind of connecting with them.
It's insane, but the video quality in the episode looks better than most video quality in modern shows, modern shows kind of looks immature and unprofessional TBH.
So, the heroine heroine followed a lead to a house with garlic hanged on the door, no need to say what the garlic for, garlic is known for its ability to repel sane people away, and vampires of course.
The heroine met the guy, the vampire professor guy, and he tells her about his scientific studies and she deny the existence of a known fact, what's next, gonna deny that the earth is flat!?
Holly shit, the effects when the vampire attacked the heroine and she shot him multiple times one of them in the face look so cool, really great make up work. Well the vampire survived multiple shot, laughed, went after the heroine and Blade killed him in a second, what a waste!!
The CGI in the show is decent, it's not like really great, and not totally bad, honestly, it's even better than most modern TV shows.
Ok, the vampire professor educate the heroine about the history of vampires and talk about Blade saying "He has the strength of vampires and none of their weakness, except the thirst", Yet, thinking about it, Blade age and vampires are eternal, a big weakness, he also have the thirst for blood, another big weakness, I guess he can be out in the sun, like who cares, some places on earth in night all day anyway!!
Ok, finished the first episode, and it was fun, the show can compensate for the lack of entertainment these days.
Let's watch episode 2, I miss watching TV shows periodical, so, I will pretend it's a new show LOL. We have the heroine meet the main villain, and they talk together, and he's so charismatic, well-spoken, like, why we don't get villains like that anymore, it's like the actors who play the heroes today have low self-esteem issues, thinking if they had active or charismatic villain, they will take the show away from them, like if you are so obsessed of being the only one on camera, why don't you became a Youtuber, why make TV show?!
The villain isn't completely and idiot too and manged to catch the heroine, how cool is that? Then she took her sniper from the car, aiming at the main villain, while Blade took his bike in a hurry to stop her, like we would never such fast-paced events in any modern show, the way he plays with her, keep moving behind innocent people to make her hesitate taking the shot, if this scene was made with a bigger budget, it would be so cool.
The heroine was about to shoot the main villain, but fortunately our villainess Chase came to save the day and stopped her, while she was aiming at him, he was talking to her using earphone, and was basically stalling her, he didn't try to run or anything, and when he made sure Chase reached her, he stopped moving so she focus completely on him and be distracted from Chase's attack, I mean, how great is that? Isn't that a scene you would talk about while watching TV show!! I mean, look how smart the villain was, how smart Blade was, and how it make sense as we are talking about villains who lived for a very long time and have a deep understanding of humans.
Damn, the villain gave her a vampire blood then let her fall to her death, to be turned into a vampire, I didn't expect that..
This show is actually made by leftists, like the hero's friend is a Maoist, same with Swordfish, you can see the symbols, so modern Hollywood trash doesn't appeal to the left, doesn't appeal to the right, then who is it made for?!
I wonder if this show have the same rules as The Vampire Diaries, like, if some the original vampire died, everyone they turned die too, which started as really interesting element to the story, but ended of ruining any suspense about the characters, as you'd know that any major character wouldn't die, as it would mean the death of many other major characters.
I finished half an hour and I didn't even noticed, so much action, even a nice fight with a strong villain, and other fight scenes with other villains who were so easy to be defeated, It's hard to even find a modern movie that offer such escapism.
If this show was on air today, I would keep watching it for the villains, as long as it have artistic freedom and doesn't have army of thought police that censor everything, I actually having more fun watching it than anything I watched in the last year, and haven't watched any modern shows or movies for months now, but I doubt anything changed, it's probably got worst. And finished the second episode, and it was so fun.
Let's continue with our beloved villainess Chase and start watching the third episode.
So, the cop guy AKA Brian Boone who was turned into a vampire the last episode was transferred in a van and manged to free himself, and the driver found out and tried to run away for Brian Boone to catch him before he do.
WTF, Krista Starr AKA the heroine just drank her mother.. No, my bad, she was just dreaming.
Marcus Van Sciver is really charismatic villain in the show, he's charming, handsome, elegant, smart, and manipulative, like, we will never get a villain like him ever again in a TV show, thanks to Hollywood thought police.
Damn, some people kill vampires and use their ashes as drugs as it give humans incredible power.. That's very interesting.
Our villainess caught one of the people using the vampire drug and tortured her in order to know who are the people targeting them and even threatened her with eating her baby.. Love you, Chase 💗💗💗.
After she got the name, our villainess lead a team to raid the place, only to find out it was a trap set by Blade, thankfully, she manged to survive it.
Krista Starr was impaled towards the end of the episode, I really love this show, this show is a blessing, and for people who want another modern Blade movie or whatever, be careful what you wish for, just enjoy things that actually good, and don't encourage people to ruin it for you, if you really love Blade, you should hope that Hollywood thought police don't get anywhere near it.
Let's continue with the fourth episode, Blade was about to cut the man into two from the crotch to force him to speak, I know he wouldn't it's interesting to use his sword like that tho.
Sticky Fingaz, the actor playing Blade is so fun to watch and have a charisma, he's so underrated, he's better than many big names today, who either don't know how to act anymore, or just don't give a shit.
WTF, the vampires gave the heroine blood to help her healing and she just flushed it in the toilet, what ungrateful heroine, does she even know how much it cost or he hard for them to give it to her!!
She doesn't deserve to be a vampire, many humans would love to be in her place, and would be really grateful to have the opportunity to be a blood-sucking vampires, heroes like her is why vampires don't turn new humans anymore for decades now.
Ok, finished the episode, we basically had a nice fight between Blade and other vampires, Chase was so generous that not only took one man for dinner but even invited his friend, the episode was fun to watch as expected.
Been a long time since I watched the show, so, let's continue with the Fifth episode, Ok, there's a problem with numbering the episodes, so this one should be the fourth. This show is so cool, I wish if there's any modern show that I can enjoy as much. So, Blade was kidnapped, and our villainess appeared around 7 minutes time mark. Steppin' Razor played by Bokeem Woodbine is the character that I'm enjoying watching the most this episode. I have many characters I like in this show..
Damn, we finally see Chase's husband around 26 minute mark, and he's charismatic and handsome, and I'm saying that because in the previous episode she said he's the one that turned her into vampire, can you imagine how he would be like if this was made by modern Hollywood, they would make him bland, and boring, and would make sure you dislike him as much as they can, they would strip any charisma within him, would probably make Chase act as she's a victim of his action, while her, they are kind of rivals, the character keeps you interested, you want to know more about both of them, modern Hollywood would make both of them insufferable.
So, basically Steppin' Razor went to meet Marcus and made a deal with him, giving him Blade in exchange for Bad Blood join them.
I like that Steppin' Razor survived the episode, it would be a big mistake if he didn't, since he's basically the gate to give us the backstory of Blade in relation to Bad Blood, which I hope the show cover in later episodes. That was fun episode, had a good time watching it, our villainess Chase didn't get as much screen time, but the episode introduced us to multiple interesting plot lines.
