In 2024 movie Art of War. Actress Song Muxin plays as villainess Ghost.

I swear I started watching videos on how to learn Chinese, can you imagine being able to learn Chinese and watching and being able to understand shows like Re Xue 热血 with Song Zi-Qiao main villainess of the show! I don't care, I want that :'(

 Anyway, was checking videos on how to learn Chinese and it's so hard, and there's no shortcut for it, I wish I find the time and a way to do it. 

Let's watch the movie, let's hope it's good, the movie starts with explosion and introduce us to the villain, I don't know, but it feels like a sequel.  

So, the good guys basically want to protect a female scientists who they need as a witness against the main villain of the movie..

I think this is the first fight of our villainess, I say I think because the movie is going so fast that I don't know what's going on, I'm not even sure if she's a heroine or a villainess.

I like the set in this movie, it's like in the future, but things don't look too clean and perfect like other Chinese movies of such genre, but it looks more like the 80s and 90s movies of such genre, and I love that.

Ok, that was funny, one of the fighters was talking to Alex who I assume the protagonists saying "Our phones look the same" and Alex was like "Actually, this one is yours" LOL.. That was funny and I kind of didn't expect it.

Our villainess threw a knife on the scientist and kind of avoided it in a cool way.

Now, we know what the explosion was about, like, wouldn't it be better if I was anticipating it, so I get what it's about instead of this, the explosion in the start of the movie was really unnecessary.

It's easy to see that the movie had young people behind it, trying their best to make something good, and I really appreciate that.

I said the movie was rushed, now I'm confused, like did the scientist die, or that's what they were talking about with "Faking her death" to trick the bad guy "Brono", it's just confusing, like, they were talking about faking her death and she died anyway!!

There's now flashback of Alex playing video game, and I really want to play this game, it looks so cool, It remind me of Metal Slug. 

Damn, I didn't know they can do that in Chinese movies, the people who made this movie were like "Let's have fun", and that's it, and that's what people want, people want movies they can enjoy, movies to watch to waste time, not a fucking lecture, if I want a lecture about morality, why not to go to a church or a mosque, why watching a movies to lecture you!!

The main villain Bono, is like, having a party with many of beautiful young ladies dancing around him..

Life goals, learn Chinese, travel to China, play a cool villain..

 I love that Chinese movies exploring new themes, like the heroes ended up in prison for something that wasn't their fault, and the prison is horrible, there's like a collar around their necks that would electrocute them if they even got angry.

The idea of not just being in prison, but have like some collar around your neck electrocuting if you behaved in a wrong way is absolutely terrifying, like imagine being in another prison of your behavior, it's like double the punishment, even more, of course you can't have any activity that could trigger the collar, like playing sport or lifting weight, this is some dystopian shit.   

I don't know how I feel of them using names that isn't common in China, like obviously western American names, at one hand, it's easier to remember, on the other hand it's very obvious that they choose it for it be easier for me to remember LOL.

I have a curious question, since they ended up in mixed prison, do sex also trigger the collar, and do both of them electrocuted, or only one? How about masturbation would that also trigger the collar? So many questions...

Wait, our villainess also ended up in prison, I kind of forgot that she was even arrested.. That's what happen when things go really fast.   

 Ok, this scene is so funny.

Damn, the protagonist killed the guards and escaped prison, I swear, Hollywood thought police would never permit that to be made, like the prisoners in this movie, their collars would electrocute them if they even think of such rebellious thought LOL.

Brono died with headshot, WTF, what a weird introduction and weirder ending, I just started to like the guy, well, Hello and Goodbye, I guess!!

We have another potential villainess called Queen and another male villain.. Ok, I was tricked, it wasn't Queen, it was Mission Impossible moment.

The movie went towards a drama that really felt out of place, and deserve its own movie, it's just feel enforced here, it's like a clip from a different movie inserted in the middle, or more like the end of the movie..

Finally we get to know the name of the villainess, The ghost, her name is The ghost, or at least that's the translation of the Chinese name.

Now to the final fight, so basically the bad guys, Our beloved Ghost had a knife fight and defeat by the end. The movie is fun as action movie, yet it tries to be more than it can be, the movie is barely over hour long, yet it opens many story lines, the idea of behavior prison is wild and pushing the limits, it's similar to what Hollywood thought police do with entertainment, it's very interesting, the movie also explore another story line with father, the son, and the holy mother spirit, which is also too much for such short movie, could be made a movie of its own, overall it was really fun to watch and explored really interesting ideas, I hope the villains were more active through the movie, everything about them happened really fast, you have Bono who barely did anything and everything about him went too fast, the female villain got a good screentime and was way more active in comparison, the father of Alex who turned up to be the villain appeared suddenly as if the movie trying to engage in a different story, and also overthrow Bono and his entire organization really fast, that you barely notice it, overall it was a really fun movie to watch.
