Since Black Scorpion is now available on Youtube, let's cover it for some good old escapism.

We will start with episode 2, the episode starts with the heroes going after two bad guys, let's call them agents Smiths, now the heroes are being chased by the cops, the cops started shooting at them, then they shot barrels containing toxic waste which caused them to leak, the good old times, when toxic waste had the beautiful great color, now they would probably make it grey, dull and boring, the show is trying to capture a comic book vibe, which is so cool, modern shows have a color bankruptcy problem, and I don't mean that they should make everything colorful in a celebratory manner, but use color to give impact to something, even if it doesn't make sense IRL, like what they did with the barrels in this episode!!

 The heroes manged to escape the police and the police cars going after them flipped, so the heroes being chased by cops and even maneuvered the cops and flipped their cars, and they are still heroes, modern Hollywood would have characters who are way good-doers than these heroes and would call them villains, so, when I say they really want to erase villains I'm not exaggerating.

Ok, this scene will explain the crisis of modern Hollywood and how it's creatively paralyzing and suffocate art, we have our villainess Dr. Gail Waters AKA Hurricane origin story, Dr. Gail Waters is a scientist who found out that the water is contaminated with toxic waste, she went to examine the water, and as a result of that she got superpowers..

Now, let's say a committee saw such origin story, what modifications they can do, first of all, she's a scientist, the committee will order them to change that, because it may make people distrust scientist, now she's just Miss Gail Waters, but there's another problem, now she's a woman, you can't portray a woman as evil, so now we have to gender-swap her to be Mister Gail Waters, is it Ok now, of course not, we still have a problem, the scene suggests that toxic waste would give her superpowers, we also have to change that, as people may think toxic waste would give them superpowers which is very dangerous, so now he doesn't get superpowers, is that all? Of course not, the villain now will fight the heroine because he care about the environment, you are not allowed to portray environmental activists as evil, so the motive can't exist, also, we can't portray toxic waste in a colorful green color, let's make it some bland boring color!!

Our gorgeous villainess Babette appears for the first time with the evil mayor who is responsible for polluting the waters. 

The two other scientists who were with Dr. Gail Waters apparently developed some octopus powers!!

Damn, I love Dr. Gail Waters' evil laugh 😍😍😍 I really miss evil laughs.

The episode is so fun to watch, yet if Hollywood morality police manged to put their hands on it, they would suck it dry and not in a fun way!!

 Now the final fight, the heroine went after our beloved villainess to save the city, she beats her male assistants very easily, then defeats her finally and save the day.

 Let's check the third episode, as The Flash gave the good guys their Iris, Black Scorpion also gave us Iris Lookingood played by Kimber West, Iris appeared at the beginning of the episode flirting with her boyfriend. This episode is very similar to Spider-Man with Peter Parker and Mary Jane, as she beat her fellow officer while wearing the mask and then kissed him and he couldn't stop thinking about her, which is kind the exact opposite of Spider-Man, but the idea is similar of falling in love of the masked superhero. 

Our villainess set a trap for the heroine where she staged that she's under attack to make the heroine get close to her so she can uncover her face.

When her boyfriend who was a photographer tried to take her photo and expose her identity, she fired a laser on his camera and blinded him, like, WTF is wrong with heroes?

So, the heroine's friend Veronica came with a new ad campaign for fashion and used a drawing of a superhero and superheroine for it, let me say whoever this superhero is, he got a big dick LOL. 

After our villainess' boyfriend had eye surgery, he turned into a supervillain and started laughing evilly, I would've turned into a supervillain too if I had a surgery in USA without health insurance.

So The boyfriend who now became the supervillain Flashpoint rob the city in order to have laser to blind the whole city with the help of a German scientist or something and of course our villainess.

The heroine fight Flashpoint, the fight is kind of laughable, but not boring, which I can't say about modern Hollywood fight scenes if exist, thankfully Iris came to save the day and knocked the heroine out and saved the villain.

The heroine fight the villains towards the end of the episode and defeat them, this won't be the last time we see Iris and Flashpoint, but for this episode, they were defeated.
