In 2020 movie The Kill List. Actress Kessarin Ektawatkul plays as villainess Aasi. The movie basically starts with introducing the heroine being undercover to infiltrate some trafficking organization, the fight is actually decent, like it feels like the bad guys are waiting to be hit, but it looks fun, at least it's a fight scene, not like many modern movies with 1000 cuts that you basically don't know what's going on.
The dubbing really make the movie less fun to watch..
Angie basically working for another shady organization, and she just flipped on them, when she felt her boss was about to get rid of her after she failed her mission. So the evil boss make Angie the next assignment of our villainess Aasi who first appear around 19 minutes.. Not only Angie ran away but she also took a memory card that belong to the evil boss, I assume the card must be at least 1 terabyte, otherwise, why even bother?!
Aasi manged to track Angie into a hotel room around
23 minutes, but Angie easily manged to escape her.
The dubbing make the scenes that supposed to be emotional sound awful, even funny TBH. Dubbing can work with old marital art Chinese movies, because it's basically chirography and fight scenes, but with drama, or scenes with that aim for dramatic impact, it's just awful.
Ok, there's a cop investigating Angie who finally manged to track her, Angie is like one of the easiest to track characters I've seen in movies, it's like she posts everything she do on social media..
Plot twist, the boss of the evil organization Angie is working for, is also the boss of the cop who is investigating Angie.
So, obviously, Aasi manged to track Angie and was about to shoot her while she's sitting with the cop, yet she shot Mena by mistake, the one she saved in the first fight of the movie, and we get the final fight around
46 minutes, between Angie and Aasi.
