Movie Name : The Body Guard AKA 保镖
Actress Name : Xing Yang
Character Name : Nana
Year : 2024

In 2024 movie The Body Guard AKA 保镖. Actress Xing Yang plays as villainess Nana.
Ok, two lover having a good time for our villainess to ruin the night for them, poor couple. TBH, with Hollywood movies even the one I like, they rarely show villains do evil thing anymore, like mostly the final fight and that's it, at least with Asian movies they still build the character, I think Asian movies still can get better, but now it's absolutely better than modern western movies.

I really like the heroine, she seems fit to do action roles, which is cool, and she looks gorgeous too.

The heroine is fighting a man who was following her, and it turns out that he wanted to hire her since she's a good fighter, the fight is really good, if she did it herself, it would be awesome.

This isn't the first movie I watch of Jingjing Qu, the one playing the heroine Zhong Xiaonan, but this one of the best fighting choreography I ever seen, especially for women in action roles, Hollywood should really learn from such style, it's really good, it's the most thing I've seen of actor/actress having fight scene closer to Jackie style, have to check if she was taught by him or something LOL.

No way, one of the bad guys knocked the wall with his head, guys, guys, listen, being a bald doesn't give you superpowers, it may look as smooth as a metal ball, but it's still a skull, or there's the other possibility that the building materials is really really cheap LOL, anyway, it was fun, so I don't mind it, but I was expecting it to be something like she listen to the wall, and we hear fading ticking that goes louder at the same time the camera go through the wall to take us on the other side to find out it's explosives then she run to save the one she's protecting, that would be way better.

I love how both the villainess and the heroine are good fighters, this is so fun to watch.

I remember Xing Yang from Blind War, this character is way better, at least for me, I thought her character in the other movie too complicated which kind of ruin escapism and kind of distracting, it can work if the movie focused on the villain not a movie with a hero and a villain, this one is actually really good, the heroine is also very good, even the effects are more practical and it feels good to watch and doesn't feel cheap or amateuristic, so yeah, I like the movie, it's better than western action movies including with male lead.

TBH, I don't know why they use English, like, when the villainess say things like "Wrong Answer", I'm curious to know how it sounds in Mandarin or whatever Chinese dialects she speaks.

The way the bad guys go in droves to attack the heroes reminds me of Shaolin Soccer LOL.

The heroine had a great fight with the bad guys, It's a great fight, but I can't help but think if I'm one of them knowing that we as a group have to pretend being hit at the same time, I would probably laugh and ruin the shot for everyone 😂😂😂. But for real, since it's very rare to have behind the scenes of stunt performers laughing and ruin the shot, I assume they are very discipline in their work, especially as a group not one to one.

OK, have to say, first half of the movie good, the second half is lazy and bad, it ended up like god and the devil, god being the heroine who is everything good, and the main villain who is everything bad that he kill everyone evil he knows, it's lazy, the movie is like "You have to hate him, even if you like the villainess you have to hate him, I'm not giving you a choice" and is trying hard and I dislike this, it's very enforced, like you want people to like the protagonist so hard that you try to make the main villain as hated as possible and the heroine as liked as possible, like in some movies, when the hero face two hard choices and have to make a decision somehow the writer either push other character to take the decision for them or solve the problem automatically, it's like treating the character as children, this ruin escapism and immersion in the story and kind of childish, sorry, it would be way better if her last scene was her fight with the heroine and we just don't see her again!!

Thanks to Nathan S for recommending the movie 🌹🌹🌹.
