In 2024 movie 危险证据 aka Dangerous Evidence. actress 王李丹鈮 Daniella Wang plays as villainess Yue Chan. The movie starts with our gorgeous villainess in a swimming pool, she orders her henchman to kill some woman, she's disappointed at her henchman, as he's afraid and don't like to follow the orders, she told him, if he didn't do it, she will do it herself. The movie go back to 5 years ago, it shows the villainess brother running to save his mother from a gang that kidnapped her, and when he's about to reach them a rocket killed everyone in the place, turns out that his father did it in order to keep him from giving the kidnapper an expensive necklace, and the villainess gave the necklace back to the father, later the heroine manged to steal the necklace, the father was arrested, and as a result she became a target of the villainess, very intersting plot, cool.
The heroine was kidnapped by two people who pretended to be her fans, the cop aka the hero was eating in KFC, once he saw she was taken he ran towards the car and memorize the car numbers, called the police station to track it, I like that, it makes so much sense and the camera work is great once it focused on the car getting away it gave me a hint of what the cop was actually trying to do, like not actually catching the car but taking a good look on the numbers, I really appreciate such small details.
The hero free the heroine from the bad guys, it was too easy TBH, then take her in his car for the bad guys to chase him again and for the cop car flipping in air, I didn't expect such good practical effects and I love how they are filming out doors, it's really nice.
So, the heroes manged to escape the bad guys to go to some doctor, and the scene is kind of comedy as the doctor is clueless LOL, I don't get why we don't see these kind of characters in western TV shows anymore, they have to take everything seriously, they don't get that it's all about entertainment and escapism, they can't show flawed doctor or cop, because they are afraid portraying certain careers in a bad way, it's just boring.
I knew it, so when the hero went after the bad guys he left his daughter in KFC, I thought it's stupid and irresponsible, especially that she had anyone to stay with till he go back to her, so the bad guys kidnapped her.
I love the hero acting so normal, like the way he eat the noddles, it's so spontaneous, I hate that many actors in Hollywood and in the west as every scene of them should be taken as if it's an instagram post, it's so boring.
I like the heroine, the hero was going like "It's high, but we have to jump, it will be ok." and she kept away from him as if he was crazy 😂😂😂.
The hero and the heroine now run away from the police and at the same time they want to get the hero's daughter back from the villains.
I can't believe it, the main villainess went after the good guys herself riding a motorcycle and didn't send some of her guys, what an honor..
Again two men went after the heroine, the hero defeated one of them and the heroine defeated the other.
The brother of the villainess met with a group of other bad guys on the boat, one of them disagreed with him and he went calmly and threw him of the boat and into the water, I laughed TBH, and I thought he was the good one in the family LOL.
Come on, the little girl used morse code in her kidnapped video to send message to her father and the police, I really don't buy it.
Ok, the villainess was defeated so easy, and got arrested, not even halfway of the movie, I guess her brother is the main villain now and she's just secondary villainess!!
Here's what I think of the movie, the best part of the movie is until our villainess got knocked out and arrested, the second half of the movie is like a totally different movie, I liked the comedy scene in the movie which was ok, comedy and action can be a good compilation as long as you understand the main theme, but here's the problem, there aren't a main theme in the movie, the movie lack a style, it's a mix of action, comedy, tragedy, crime, and detective work, it jumps from a genre to another, it focused on entertainment at the beginning, then it went into a different direction, even the editing in the movie, it lacks the style, the movie sometime use still image transition then use some twitch transition effect, and mostly for no reason, while such effect should be used emphasize some moments, the movie seemed experimental despite having some cool practical effects, and how I feel about the movie, I don't know how I feel, I feel I don't want to watch it again LOL. It seems that the Chinese movies are learning how to make movies no one watches from Hollywood, and they are doing a great job in it, congratulations!!
Anyway, Daniella Wang is gorgeous and amazing I wish if she stayed till the end of the movie and had a better fight with the heroine.
