The movie starts with Cena disguised as a lawyer, while in fact she and her boyfriend are plotting to help a crime boss to escape during trial, damn, she's brutal, she showed no mercy to the poor guard, tough luck for him.

The court is named "Villania Demian Court", that's intersting, the couple decided to kill the crime boss, it's his fault really, he should've a trustworthy evil agency, he probably hired them because they gave him a discount, that's what you get for being stingy crime boss.
The movie is so badass, a lot of practical effects, it's like old Chinese action movies but modern, it's how Chinese HK movies should've evolved, I really like it.
The crime boss's son discovered that the couple killed his father and his assistant pushed him out of the car just before being exploded, I love this scene, I hope if they showed someone being not so lucky and getting injured after they survive the explosion tho, it would show the gravity of the situation they just survived.
Dong Gu fight scene with multiple guys is just great, he then caught the couple while they were taking his partner as a hostage, he offered to replace him, the hero eventually fought and killed the boyfriend, Cena was heartbroken and angry and swore on revenge.
The movie then goes full drama on the aftermath of the attack with the hero suffering from losing his sight and facing Psychological problems etc.. etc.
TBH, I would prefer that the movie starts with the hero already blind and show the action scene in the beginning as flash back, you can make such transition from absolute drama to action, but when doing some epic action scenes then very sad slow drama it make it slower, while if the action came later the action scenes would look more exciting.
So, the hero lost his eyesight, and his friend has his legs broken, the hero with the help of his daughter was doing training and jumping, and told his partner with a broken leg, "Can you jump like that?" his partner answered, "Just look at me, What do you think?".
The hero's daughter got kidnapped, Cena manged to break from prison after another female inmate tried to kill her and failed inside prison.
Cena knew that Dong Gu lost his eyesight, so she pretended to be someone else and convinced him to work together to get his daughter back.
The hero with the help of Cena went after our villainess, after the hero pretended selling Cena to the criminal organization, and even him was knocked out by the bad guys.
Finally we see our gorgeous villainess Long Wang AKA Dragon King for the first time in 44 minute mark, in real time anyway, she appeared for seconds as flash back.
So, Cena and the hero manged to free themselves, Cena fought our gorgeous evil babe, and our villainess was defeated.
Ok, here's what I think, Cena could've been a great villainess, the movie over complicated the character, she would be much better if she was just a heroine, even a flawed heroine, but instead she have no identity, sometimes she's a victim, sometimes she's pure evil, I assume she's good not a villainess, still she would've been a great villainess if that was the focus of the character, I think what the movie did with Cena character is similar to what was done to Tokyo played by actress Jeon Jong-seo in the Korean remake of La casa de papel Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area, they also victimized Tokyo to make her less evil, thinking people will love the character more by doing so, while in fact it made the people like the show less, One of the reasons Tokyo played by actress Úrsula Corberó was popular is that Tokyo was a villainess, it's not that she was a villainess and people didn't like that and wanted her to be a heroine.
As for our villainess Long Wang, I loved every second she was on screen, she's so gorgeous, I love her so much, I wish she had more active role in the movie with more screen time, overall the movie is so fun to watch.
