Actress Name : Heidi Mark
Character Name : Darla
Year : 1999

In tv show Charmed season 2 episode titled She's a Man, Baby, a Man! aired 1999. Actress Heidi Mark plays as villainess Darla.

God, I miss shows like this one, I remember how good female-led shows were, like BuffyRelic Hunter, Xena, and of course this one, it's unbelievable that this show was made in the same place that make today some of the worst shows and movies in the world, like I don't there's a country that make shows and movies as bad as shows and movies are made in the west, I'm usually can watch drama and slow-burn shows till the end, and sometimes its rewarding and worth the time, like Westworld season one, and it was very rewarding by the end of the season, and it was made like a decade ago!!
But now just for the show to be made or associated with the west, it seems like it's not made for people willingly watching it, as if they have to be forced to watch it, as a method of interrogation or torture, they are just awful..

Anyway, let's start watching..

That's how great TV shows used to be, you know the idea of "show don't tell", the episode actually tell you first, in order to get your attention, like Phoebe was talking to Piper that she's having a weird dreams of being with men and she kill them in bed..
The show works on giving you partially of what the dreams are like, in ordered to get you to use your imagination and get you in anticipation, the show want you to keep watching, to be curious of what could happen or how such dreams could be like..

Just after that, we see Phoebe in her bed, you can see she's dreaming, and you still anticipating what's going on, still curious on how these dreams are like, then we see how these dreams are like, and then we are being introduced to our villainess.

That's how great villains are, it's extremely hard to build such anticipation to heroic character, like it can happen, but in order to do it, you need something like horror movie, and in such case the villain is the main character, the other characters are their targets, and the anticipation is built on what is going to happened to them, will they survive or not, the other example is in Game Of Thrones, in such case, the show got rid of the hero, or what was introduced to be the hero, then by doing so, the show built anticipation for the rest of the characters, it's hard to build such powerful anticipation in a heroic character, unless you basically don't mention the star of the movie, keep people anticipating who is who, another successful example for doing that with heroic character was in The Walking Dead, you also don't know what was going to happen, you are anticipating what would happen to the characters, so you are invested in the story, in this case, villainous character easily do what heroic characters are trying to do and failing.

The intro of the show is awesome, maybe it's just the nostalgia, seeing Shannen Doherty is also hurtful knowing that she's no longer in our world, it's like you lost someone from your childhood, someone you knew, spent good time with, and such someone is no longer here 😢.

This show was made 27 years ago, and the way they freeze time still looks awesome today..

Damn, around 27 minutes mark, after Prue Halliwell turned into a man to attract the succubus, she was saying that the video she gave to the dating agency made broke the records and got 20 hits LOL..
One of the most interesting things about this episode that Youtube originally was supposed to be a dating site, like how the company Darla was working in, you basically upload your video and find a date, like, this episode is just awesome, if someone want to make a movie or something taking place in the late 90s, this episode can give you idea on how the internet was in its early years.

The three witches knew that the succubus is attracted to Prue, so the three of them went to a night club waiting for her to show up, at first she mistaken her for someone else, then around 30 minutes mark, it turns out to be Darla, she trapped Prue in an alley, then her sisters intervened and the cops staking the place went to the scene and Darla was shot..
Yet, Darla not dead yet, and she went to the witches' house and kidnapped Prue, she really wants Prue, isn't she?
The actual final confrontation starts around 37 minutes..

If you are sick of censorship and western thought police shows, you really should watch this one, it's really fun to watch, and being available today with high quality, you will probably get a better time and a better experience watching it than you would get from watching the boring and bland modern TV shows, it's really worth it.
