Movie Name : If Looks Could Kill

Actress Name : Carole Davis

Character Name : Areola Canasta

Year : 1991

In 1991 movie If Looks Could Kill. Actress Carole Davis plays as villainess Areola Canasta. I don't know much about the 90s, it was before me, but I bet it was extremely boring, like imagine, no internet, the options were so limited, yet when it comes to female villains, and new unique ideas for movies, it was the golden age, villains in 90s movies were also the best, there wasn't as much censorship as now, and don't get me wrong, there was censorship, you can watch The Neverending Story, and it's obviously there was censorship, it wasn't just as bad, artists could write villains back then, and had much freedom, Hollywood in the 90s had creative freedom similar to what Chinese artists have today, that's why best villains were in that decade.

Someone somewhere in the USA, watched this movie 3 decades ago on a video tape, and now I'm watching the same exact movie, which is kind of cool if you think about it.

Hollyshit, I remember this scene as a kid, I just didn't know from what movie it was, it stuck in my memory, now I found it, like around 7 minute time mark, there's a villainess, Ilsa Grunt, played by Linda Hunt, she took the whip and tortured and strangled the hero in a fight after he faced her, that was a very cool scene, I'm glad I knew from where it was, that was a pleasant surprise.

Linda Hunt is so fun in this movie, I used to watch her in NCIS: Los Angeles, she wasn't as fun, and it's not like I was watching the show for her, I just used to watch modern Hollywood trash that's all. Anyway, even a villainess like her wouldn't exist today, like imagine portraying villains in a modern show or movie to be likable in anyway, liking villains is a thought crime, and we can't have that!!

I love the scene where the hero got a first class ticket on his flight and was giving a really fancy meal, and then the others got a meal in the same flight, and were going "Excuse me, what's this?" and Ilsa was like "Food", and her face expression is gold LOL.

Fucking hell, Ilsa killed like three of the heroes in the movie, that's some effective villainess, them underestimating her only making her job easier.

As much as I love Chinese movies, it's incredibly sad that I probably won't watch any new Hollywood movie till the rest of my life, and watching this movie, I know there will never be villains like that on screen at all, but what can you do? It is what it is, maybe China will get better and better making movies, and will see a golden age of Chinese cinema, and Asian cinema as a whole, at least I hope so..

Our gorgeous villainess appear around 40 minutes time mark, and she's so stunning 😍😍😍, I'm so in love with her, love isn't enough word to describe it, I want to worship her.

So, our gorgeous villainess went to the hotel room of the hero, and Ilsa gave the order to the henchman to kill them both to make sure that the hero die for sure this time, yet we only lost our beloved villainess.
