In 1993 movie Cyborg 2: Glass Shadow. Actresses Karen Sheperd and Elizabeth Sung play as female villains Chen and Palmist. It seems that the story is about dystopian future where machine is replacing humans in every field driven by the greed of big corporations, thank goodness that modern corporations are driven by morals not by greed and profit, otherwise we would've seen countless number of people losing their jobs and replaced by faster, smarter soulless machines!!
I said it before about how I see movies and I think movies should be around how it feel like not how it look or seem like, and this movie really showing what I'm trying to say, Mercy the guy speaking on the screen played by Jack Palance is manifestation of how AI feels like, it doesn't look like AI in any way, but channel the same feeling that people have towards AI, especially people whose job is threatened by it, it feels insidious and threatening, the movie actually channel the feeling many people have towards AI better than modern movies and shows, at least movies and shows that I manged to watch and addressing the issue. In 23 minute mark, we get a first look of our gorgeous villainess 😍😍😍.
The movie have some posters of what it seems to be Lenin with Russian word under it, which is very intersting.
Damn, Chen is amazing, the way she went after the two cringe heroes, defeated the blonde villain played by the great late actor Billy Drago is just so fun to watch.
Mercy would've been my second favorite character in the movie if he didn't turn out to be good and human towards the end, the character really felt like AI, and I wish they didn't show his full form too, he would've been way better character than he was.
Really good movie with very intersting idea and feel so different watching it nowadays.
Thanks to Tarek Tequila for recommending the movie 🌹🌹🌹.
