Henchwomen Fight

In 2008 movie The Forbidden Kingdom. Actress Bingbing Li plays as villainess Ni Chang. The first time I watched this movie, I was very excited, like Jackie Chan and Jet Li in the same movie, like two of the greatest marital artists of their time sharing the same screen, I absolutely forgot what this movie is about now, which I think is a good thing since it's a rewatch, so it's kind of watching it as a new movie.

Ok, Jason Tripitikas, who is kind of the main character in this movie traveled into a different world, from what I see, it's China, China is the most beautiful country on earth, no wonder the Chinese people have so much creative freedom and most decent movies and even video games come from China. I had enough money and get old enough to retire, I would prefer to spend the last of my years in China in a beautiful place like the one in this movie, then I can go out in peace.

I really don't get, if China and other countries near China like Nepal have such insanely beautiful landscapes, why western studios film their movies outside China, then try to cash on it in the Chinese box office, if you want to compete with Chinese movies, at least film some of your movies and TV shows in China, If your biggest market is USA, and your second biggest market is China, it makes so much sense to film in such amazing landscape. 

Finished 30 minutes, and wow, that was insanely good, so wholesome, like you can never make a movie like this today due to western censorship.

We are being introduced for the first time to our gorgeous evil witch after Jade Warlord summoned her to keep The Monkey King from being resurrected.

We see Jet Li once again around 37 minutes, apparently he's playing two characters in the movie.

God, Jackie making a conversation with Jet Li, like, it's so amazing..

The fight that follows is amazing, the Choreography is insanely good, you can watch it here.

We first see our evil goddess around 45 minutes mark..

This scene is hilarious.

Around 50 minutes mark, Golden Sparrow played by the beautiful actress Yifei Liu, tells us about her backstory, which make me think, this movie would make a great TV show, only instead of keeping giving us flashbacks and backstories, just make them in order, like build a world with all the characters, take characters like Golden Sparrow for example, and make the character grow up while at the same time the Monkey King challenges The Jade Warlord, and the season ends with The Jade Warlord triumph, then you introduce the character of Jason Tripitikas, that would be awesome, but in order for it to work, it need to be made by true artists and western thought police should stay as far from it as possible.

 The climax of the movie starts around 1 hour 18 minutes..

Wow, that was awesome, what an awesome experience, that's what is called a movie. It's like a century ahead of anything made today.

In 2008 movie Poison Ivy: The Secret Society. actress Shawna Waldron plays as villainess Azalea Berges. The movie looks amazing, it's like it came from the future, I don't know what's wrong with modern movies, but it's like their cameras suffering from depression LOL, it's awful, it's like they have experts to ruin the movie's experience for the audience, and it's not just this movie, many movies from the 2000s look way better than most Hollywood movies today..

You know, If some other country manged to fill the gap Hollywood left in entertainment, and give the world an alternative, I have to admit, I kind of like watching movies in English, maybe it's not my language, but it just feel different, like since childhood I used to watch shows like Hercules, Xena, Relic Hunter, and Charmed, a part of me will always find English nostalgic, but what can you do, all good things must come to an end. 

Any way the plot starts with our villainess trying to befriend the heroine, Daisy Brooks, played by Miriam McDonald, so during the secret society meeting, she nominated Daisy to join the sisterhood..

In the day after, Daisy woke up to find a mysterious box next to her bed, she open the box, and asks her roommate about it, she tells her it's not a normal phone, it's a phone especially made for the Ivys, which is kind of a legend, and technically don't exist.

     After a while, Daisy got messages on her new phone from a mysterious number, setting for a meeting, and there she goes to meet the mysterious person who contacted her, to find the gorgeous Azalea waiting for her.  

Honestly this movie reminds me of Hallmark and Lifetime movies and such, like even the music.
So, Daisy found out that her college account was frozen, and if the problem wasn't fixed with the bank, she will have to reapply next year.

Just after that, she got a message on her phone telling her to go to the basement, and while walking, someone put a bag on her head, and took her, to find herself in some unknown place to perform her initiation ceremony to join the sisterhood.

Azalea told Daisy about the rules of the sisterhood, that in order to be a member, she can never tell anyone about the secret society, she have to obey the orders and never question them, being part of the sisterhood means, if pain inflicted on her, it's inflicted on the entire sisterhood, and Daisy's success is a success for the entire sisterhood.

In the next day, after Daisy became officially a member of the sisterhood she wakes up to find a letter saying her loan was approved.

Around 58 minutes, Azalea and Isabel meets Blake, they want him to give them the password, so they mange to access their grades and changing it, and there they uncover the truth of the secret society and what is waiting poor Daisy, they aren't a charity, they don't give her everything without a price, they want her to be the scapegoat of their scheme.

But Blake wasn't seduced by their beauty, he tricked them and gave them the wrong password, but Azalea isn't done yet, she had a plan B.

Azalea sent a message to Daisy's phone to meet up, then showed her a video of her and Blake together in bed, and suggesting that Daisy should hit back hard, telling her, if someone throws eggs at your house, make lemonade. And they did, Azalea and the secret society went to burn Blake's car both for making the video, and for throwing eggs at Daisy's house.

Azalea then meets Daisy the next day after the society burned Blake's car, to make sure Daisy is still loyal to the society and still willing to follow orders, telling Daisy that leaving the secret society have consequences, not only on her, her scholarship, but also her family, having no choice, Daisy have to do whatever Azalea and the secret society tells her to do.

Azalea orders Daisy to enter the administration building, Daisy have no idea what she's doing there, Azalea tells Daisy to take off her jacket, go up the stairs, finally Daisy found out what Azalea is setting her to do, she's sending her to Professor Graves' office, he had troubles at home and went to the building, and Azalea wants Daisy to seduce him as part of her backup plan in order to change the grades of the society, and using Daisy to do so, once Daisy found out, she left the building.

Now Azalea have to do it herself, she entered Professor Graves' office, at first he rejected the stunning Azalea, and tried to leave the office, but Azalea locked the door, and eventually Azalea manged to seduce him.

But seducing him was only half of the plan, as while they were sleeping, Azalea killed the Professor, now with Daisy's fingerprints all over the place, she's the obvious suspect, and Azalea can easily frame her.

Around 1 hour 25 minutes, Daisy went to apologize to Azalea for what she did, and the gorgeous villainess forgave her good deeds and decided to accept her back, but once again Daisy betrayed her, and recorded their conversation, and then we get the final fight of the movie between Daisy and Azalea.
